At Jacksonville Beach’s Sea Walk Pavilion, you’ll find concerts or festivals nearly every weekend from April through October. Another popular location is the Fishing Pier, which offers visitors close up views of the Atlantic Ocean as well as the ability to fish for deep-water species of fish. The pier, at North 1st Street and 5th Avenue, offers a concession and bait shop and is wheel-chair accessible. The 1,300-foot-long fishing pier on North First Street in Jacksonville Beach is a great place to watch dolphins, cast a line and enjoy the scenic views.
Then, take a stroll around Jacksonville Beach’s newly redeveloped downtown—12 acres of city-owned property that includes a new city hall, Latham Plaza, and the Sea Walk Pavilion outdoor Performance stage. The plaza hosts several annual events including the Springing the Blues Festival, the annual Opening of the Beaches celebration, the Blue Angels Sea & Sky Show, and Fiesta Playera. Nearby you will find Adventure Landing, a wonderful amusement park which includes a water park with slides,a go-kart track, miniature golf, laser tag arena, batting cages and an arcade with a wide variety of games.
